And more drawings for Ollie

Here is Ollie when he falls into the sea. Beginning to enjoy acrylics.

And here are just some random drawings of kids and a sugar glider. This is using
Staedtler Lumocolor permananet pencil. Waterproof and nice to use.

And as promised. One Sugar Glider.

And here they are after colour is added in Photoshop.

Some drawings for the start of Part 2 of the book when Ollie ends up
on a strange beach after diving off the pier.

And a drawing of Bruno the octopus.
More drawings for Ollie.
he finally has his own sub, the HMAS Barracuda. Here is with Sam as they go on one of the adventures. They are on their way to the Mariana Trench.

Of course there is always an interested shark.

Here’s Sumo. He only has one claw but the other one is growing back.
This is what Ollie did for Easter. No time for chocolates. Just time for drawing.

Some recent drawings for Ollie while working on my draft of the book.
great fun drawing sea creatures as well as working on the characters.

Em having a bit of a splash

Meet Briny. She will be part of Ollie’s team.
I am having a brief break from Ollie. So I can read the first draft with slightly fresh eyes. So it’s back to more drawings for War with the Lot. I’m mostly doing landscapes and cars. how can you resist a road trip with bad men? Don’t worry, the graphic novel is a dark comedy about the role of the media in a war zone. The bad men will come to a sticky end.
Still working on Ollie. Up to first draft.

In the last month I also did an online course on making a comic.
From Script to thumbnails…
to a rough of a complete four page comic.

There you have it.
Ollie is not a big fan of phones.
Especially after some of the nasty text messages he receives.
Unfortunately, the phone has become a very accessible tool
for bullies.

Hope to get back to the graphic novel soon but Ollie is taking up all my time as I try to
reach my first draft.
It ain’t easy!
